Training & Research

We are a training practice and have trainee GPs and trainee hospital doctors.

Parkwood Surgery is active in undertaking high quality clinical research to help to improve NHS care by finding out which treatments work best.

You might be asked to take part in a clinical research study. Taking part is voluntary and can be a rewarding experience.

GP net earnings

All GP practices are required to declare the mean earnings (e.g. average pay) for GPs working to deliver NHS services to patients at each practice.

The average pay for GPs who worked for six months or more in Parkwood Surgery in the last financial year was £54,325 before Tax and National Insurance.

This is for 3 full-time GP’s, 13 part-time GP’s and 2 locum GP’s
