Closure of Boxmoor and Gadebridge Branch Surgeries
We would like to inform our patients that, following a period of temporary closure, our Boxmoor and Gadebridge branch surgeries will now close permanently.
All services will continue to be provided from our main site at Parkwood Surgery, Parkwood Drive.
What this mean for patients
- All GP appointments and services will be available at Parkwood Surgery
- Patients who previously used the branch surgeries will continue to receive the same care at the main surgery
- If you already attend Parkwood Surgery, there will be no change to your care
Why this decision has been made
The branch sites have had limited clinical activity for some time and are no longer able to support the level of services required for a modern GP practice.
Bringing all services together at our main site will allow us to:
- Offer more appointments
- Improve access to clinicians
- Make better use of clinical and administrative resources
- Support services such as home visits for housebound patients
We understand this is a change
We appreciate this may be an adjustment for some patients and are committed to making the transition as smooth as possible. Our priority is to ensure that all patients continue to receive safe, accessible, and high-quality care.
